2007 WIN Contest Rules
1. Income and other taxes, if any, on the value of the prizes awarded are the sole responsibility of the winners.
2. Entries must be received by LP® at least 5 business days before the applicable drawing to be eligible for that drawing. Entries received after 11:59pm CST, November 10, 2007 will not be eligible to participate in any drawing.
3. WIN Contractors do not have to purchase LP WeatherBest products to be eligible for the Grand Prize Drawing, the Monthly Instant Win Drawings or for the Bonus Drawing. The Rebate Incentive and Trip Incentive Programs do require the purchase of LP WeatherBest products. To be included in drawing without a purchase of LP WeatherBest decking & railing, persons in the United States may mail a self-addressed stamped envelope with sufficient postage and their return address (name, street address, city, state and zip) legibly printed thereon to LP WIN Program, 29 Industrial Park Drive, Binghamton, NY 13904. Participants may submit no more than one entry for each drawing. Multiple entries will NOT be honored. Mail-in requests must be postmarked no later than October 24, 2007 and received by October 31, 2007.
4. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, a publicity release (where permitted by law), and/or a liability release, which must be signed and returned within 7 days of the date on the prize notification or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen. By entering and/or by accepting the prize, you agree (where permitted by law) to use of your name and likeness for publicity purposes without further compensation.
5. No substitution of prizes, including cash substitutions, except by LP in which case a prize of greater or equal value will be substituted. Prizes are not transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash and the Grand Prize and any trips awarded may not be exchanged for trips at another date.
6. Winners will be notified by email or regular mail. If a winner does not respond within 7 days of the date appearing on the prize notification, or fails to comply with the instructions contained in the prize notification within that time period, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded. Winners may be required to provide evidence of identity in connection with claiming the prize.
7. These programs are open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry and are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, as of the time of contest entry. LP employees or LP's advertising agencies, affiliates, and/or promotional partners and members of their immediate families together with whom such employees are domiciled are not eligible to enter or win.
8. By entering and/or by accepting a prize, you agree to release LP, its affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability arising out of your participation with respect to the awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
9. Void where prohibited by law. Subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
10. Programs subject to change without notice. Any disputes will be settled at LP's sole discretion.
11. Tennessee law shall govern this contest without regard for its choice of law provisions.
12. Trip incentive: Trip dates will be pre-selected and all participants must travel as a group. An LP representative will accompany the group.
