CorrectDeck is manufactured from hardwood fiber and polypropylene making it the one of the strongest composite decking materials available. With its embossed wood grain finish and naturally exposed wood fibers, standard CorrectDeck closely resembles traditional wood decking. While it does not require regular refinishing, the exposed wood fibers in the decking will weather naturally with exposure to the elements (typically during the first 12 weeks). This weathering may result in a lighter shade of color with slight color variations from board to board.

This is a naturally occurring process which gives each CorrectDeck a distinctive look and character. Railing components and decking areas in heavy shade may take longer to reach their weathered look.
