Correct Building Products® LLC Becomes Exclusive
Manufacturer of Tendura Porch Flooring
The Combination of Composite
Manufacturing Expertise And Marketing
Prowess Strengthens Products and Production
BIDDEFORD, Maine—
Correct Building Products® LLC,
manufacturer of CorrectDeck® Composite
Decking and Accessories, announces
that it has formed a manufacturing
and sales alliance with Tendura Corporation,
LLC to become the exclusive manufacturer
of the Tendura line of low-maintenance
composite tongue-and-groove porch
products.
According to the
NAHB (National Association of Homebuilders),
there is a significant rise in the
number of new single-family homes
that are being built with porches.
Porches make good investments for
homeowners; they can be enclosed at
a minimal cost, they provide shelter
and security, and most of the time,
the cost of a porch can be recovered
at the time a home is sold. The alliance
formed by CorrectDeck and Tendura
will better supply the market with
a good-looking, dependable alternative
to wooden porch flooring.
Stability
in production
Under the new partnership, Correct
Building Products will manufacture
and manage shipping and logistics
for the line of porch boards and trims.
“Tendura’s strength has
always been its unique approach to
marketing,” said Martin Grohman,
Correct Building Products president,
“and our success has come from
our efficiencies in manufacturing.
We’ve had great success with
our CorrectDeck and CorrectDeck CX
lines and we look forward to using
our experience to improve upon Tendura’s
popular products.”
Stability
in delivery
“For over seven years and millions
of feet of decking and railing production,”
said Grohman, “we have maintained
a better than 90% fill rate on all
orders in under three weeks. We are
uniquely suited to help stabilize
Tendura’s distribution channels.”
“Tendura creates
great ideas,” said Jay Dickens,
president of Tendura Corporation,
“and with this partnership with
Correct Building Products, we will
work to enhance these products for
the end user and create stability
for the benefit of distributors and
dealers nationwide. We are very happy
to announce this alliance.”
“I am confident,”
said Grohman, “that the combination
of our wood-composite manufacturing
experience with Tendura’s marketing
prowess will open many new possibilities
for the product line. We look forward
to a great year for this partnership
in 2007.”
