Strength and Performance of Polypropylene Now Available
in Low-Maintenance Docking
New 2 x 6 Board Suitable for
Marinas, Docks and Boardwalks
BIDDEFORD, Maine
– Correct Building Products,
LLC, a leading manufacturer of composite
decking and railing, has once again
broadened its product offering with
the introduction of a new 2x6 (nominal)
dock board. The new, larger-profile,
square-edged board, called CorrectDock™,
has a deeply embossed woodgrain that
is slip-resistant, even when wet.
Stronger and more
stable than traditional deck boards,
CorrectDock is designed for joist
spans up to 24”, making it ideal
for wood dock replacement or new dock
construction. Its tough polypropylene
composite construction ensures that
CorrectDock will stand up to the temperature
variations and harsh weather conditions
of marine and coastal environments.
The heavy-duty profile, with a tighter
radius at the edge, allows a clean
installation suitable for private
and light-commercial dock and marine
applications, and like all CorrectDeck
products, CorrectDock never needs
scraping or painting.
“We are proud
to be able to offer a product that
is durable enough to withstand harsh
weather and salt air,” said
Mike Descoteaux, marketing manager
for CorrectDeck. “New CorrectDock
will be a great choice for docks,
marinas, boardwalks, and fishing piers
– it offers the promise of low-maintenance
with the added performance characteristics
of polypropylene.”
CorrectDock is available
through independent distributors,
and is backed by a transferable, limited
lifetime warranty.
